Things are finally starting to move along with the bookshop. Now that insurance and law enforcement has all they need, they're going to start clearing the place up, so they can rebuild it. Then, of course, it will be a matter of restocking everything.
Until that's finished, I've still got to pay the bills, so I've taken up a part-time job at the coffee shop just down the street from my flat. Come by and see me!

I refuse to stay in on Halloween and feel sorry for myself.

NATALIE THOMPSON IS COMING IN TWO DAYS!
Oh my Merlin, I have so many things to get done, but it doesn't even matter because I am so excited! I highly suggest getting to the event early if you want a chance to speak with her, but thanks to George we do have a system set up so that even the people outside the shop can see her!
This event is going to be amazing. I just know it!
Oh, and I think I found my Halloween costume, but I haven't bought it yet! It's a red and black dress with a pretty black fan! They said it's a señorita. So cute!

Natalie Thompson is coming in a week and a half!
Oh my Merlin, I have gotten so many excited letters from people who love her book. Some people are coming from out of town! I just hope the book shop can handle them all! Of course, we'll just have to make the line go outside for the signing, but I do want everyone to be able to hear her speaks!
Maybe I can set up some kind of screen so the people outside can see her.
I have so much to do to get ready!
Oh- and stop by the shop today and get a free chocolate chip cookie with your purchase!

I don't know why everyone goes so crazy over getting a date to these balls! If you have one, you have one! If you don't, you can mingle and find someone new!
Going stag is fun! I do have to pick out something new to wear, though. Shopping trip, Vati? Hannah? Kei? Everyone's invited!

Oh my Merlin! I am SO EXCITED! Natalie Thompson is coming to my store! Natalie Thompson! To Jones' Books!
She said she couldn't think of a more perfect place to hold a signing than a bookstore that incorporates both Muggle and Wizarding literature under one roof!

I would just like to inform everyone that Jones' Books has sold out of volumes of Recent Wizarding History. Several copies are available at the library for those who are still in need, and of course, we are still fully stocked with the best of Wizarding and Muggle literature!
